Spare Tire Question on Late Models

On the class guidelines, we note that certain classes require a spare tire for full points, and that some of the competition and touring classes may not. This refers to visible spares.......let me explain. First and second gen Camaros all have visible spares when the trunk is opened. Even if the tire has a cover on it - you can tell if the spare is there or not....AND the spare came as standard equipment - so points will be deducted if the spare is missing. In many later model Camaros, there are factory hard covers over the spare tire, or in the case of the fifth gen cars - it is hidden under the trunk floor......and on top of that - it is optional! Due to the time it may take to align the covers and possible marring of any registrants cars.....late model factory spare covers will not be removed, and no points will be deducted for cars in this situation.
